Joelisa is a compassionate , giving and well rounded individual who works full time as an Internet Customer Service Advocate with Cigna Global Health  and as a part-time cashier with Michaels Arts and Craft. She is a hobby baker and artist who makes all of your wildest visions edible. Her art has allowed her to present cakes to our Governor, Cardi B, YoYo Ma, Andrew McCutchen and tons of tiny hearts and smiling faces on their birthdays.  Joelisa prides herself in being a very active Mom to her 11 year old son.  She is also an active and certified foster parent who finds joy in opening her home and heart to those who need it the most . Joelisa was selected a Brown Mama of the Year in 2018 by Pittsburgh Brown Mamas . 

She was born and raised in Rankin Pa and works everyday to help make life more beautiful for those who she loves. She is an active member of the Rankin Community Development which is a “group of individuals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Rankin community. “

On a good day you may find her volunteering when the opportunity arises , taking a walk or gardening. She loves food , dogs and bringing out the best in everyone . She earned her Bachelors degree from Point Park University in 2012.
